This will be a controversial message … a 
									message for those who live in the end of 
									this age … the dispensation of the 
									church.
Our benchmark is 
									the word of God.  
“The words of 
									the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in 
									a furnace of earth, purified seven times.  
									Thou shalt keep them, O LORD; thou shalt 
									preserve them from this generation for 
									ever.” [Psalm 12:6-7]   
“Who is among 
									you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the 
									voice of his servant, that walketh in 
									darkness, and hath no light? let him trust 
									in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his 
									God.   
Behold, all ye 
									that kindle a fire, that compass yourselves 
									about with sparks: walk in the light of your 
									fire, and in the sparks that ye have 
									kindled. This shall ye have of mine hand; ye 
									shall lie down in sorrow.” 
									[Isaiah 50:10-11]   
The Light of Your Fire
                
									In January, 1977, when I exited the gate of 
									the U.S. Navy’s Treasure Island in 
									California for the last time I became a 
									civilian again.  But I was not the same 
									civilian as I was before I went into the 
									Navy.  
Before I went 
									into the Navy, I was in spiritual 
									darkness, “for ye were sometimes 
									darkness”.   I also was 
									without hope.  “That at the time ye 
									were without Christ, being aliens from the 
									commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from 
									the covenants of promise, having no hope, 
									and without God in the world.”  
									(Ephesians 2:12)    Further, 
									as a member of this old world, I was a hater 
									of God.   To say it bluntly I was 
									living by the light of my own fire.  
                
									However, the man who went through that gate 
									in 1977 was no longer living by the light 
									of his own fire.  He had found by the 
									grace of God the truth of the utter 
									fruitlessness of such an endeavor.   
									That endeavor is living by the light of 
									one’s own fire.  
A False Light Leading To an Eternal Fire
“Behold, all 
									ye that kindle a fire, that compass 
									yourselves about with sparks: walk in the 
									light of your fire, and in the sparks that 
									ye have kindled.”   
                
									As a nation, and as individuals … we have 
									decided to walk in the light of our own 
									fire.  This fire provides a false 
									light … a kind of light that leads to an 
									eternal fire.  
We think we are 
									so wise and so greatly advanced in our 
									learning that the Bible [and the GOD of 
									that Bible] is irrelevant.  But 
									friend let me tell you something!  You 
									will need to BUCK the flow of this old world 
									in order to understand what is happening to 
									this old world.  
Now STOP all this 
									running around with the wrong crowd!  
									They are lying to you.  That Bible is 
									the most relevant book on the face of this 
									Earth.  That BOOK tells us to reject 
									the light of our own fire, and to desire 
									to obtain that illumination provided by the 
									LIGHT of the pure words of God.  
The Churches 
									Fall Away … Apostasy
									                
									What’s more … the Bible reveals who we are 
									and where we are in a timeline given for 
									human history.  
(But you will 
									have to BELIEVE THE BOOK to understand where 
									we are within this great expanse of time.  
									This BOOK I am referring to is the 
									Authorized Version of 1611, or any of its 
									editions, and is also known as the King 
									James Bible).    
That BOOK 
									indicates that we are living in the latter 
									times that are allocated to the Gentile 
									nations before God again turns to his 
									chosen nation, which is Israel.  
We are living in 
									the Church Age or otherwise known as the Age 
									of Grace.   
Further, this is 
									a period of time identified as a mystery, 
									and is a dispensation hid from ages and from 
									generations.  “To whom God would 
									make known what is the riches of the glory 
									of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is 
									Christ in you, the hope of glory:” 
									[Colossians 1:27].  
                
									Furthermore, the Bible reveals in the book 
									of the Revelation of Jesus Christ that this 
									particular part of the church age [which 
									we are now living in] began around the 
									year A.D. 1900.  
This period of time is characterized by the last of the seven churches that are found in the first four chapters of this book [The Revelation]. The church is identified as the church of Laodicea. (Revelation 3:14-22) This church is lukewarm in its love and devotion to Jesus Christ in the estimation of God. It is a church caught basking in the light of its own fire. It is a church that thinks it is rich and loves its own light, not wanting the LIGHT of God’s word.
               
									Now, what does God think of all this?  
									He says that they are “wretched, and 
									miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked.”  
									God counsels this church to be clothed in 
									“white raiment” so as to cover the shame 
									of its nakedness … and REPENT, verses 18-19.  
Apostasy is what 
									is found in this church.  The Scripture 
									here shows that this church of Laodicea had 
									fallen away from the LORD Jesus Christ and 
									his BOOK. 
[This is true 
									[in a literal sense] 
									concerning a literal church in Asia 
									Minor.)  
               
									However, this same 
									Scripture has a fulfillment in a future 
									event (in a prophetic sense).  It 
									points to the apostasy that would run 
									rampant in our day.   
“Let no man 
									deceive you by any means: for that day shall 
									not come, except there come a falling away 
									first, and that man of sin be revealed, the 
									son of perdition.” [2 
									Thessalonians 2:4] 
                
									The last part of the church age is therefore 
									characterized by APOSTASY in the churches.    
									The Bible’s precepts, principles, and 
									commands in the last one hundred years have 
									become so many shades of gray to the 
									vast multitude of Christians.   We 
									were a nation that had a heritage rooted in 
									biblical traditions.  America, in 
									its very roots, had a godly heritage.  
									This was till the robber came and stole our 
									sense of absolutes, and had supplanted in 
									its place his shades of gray.  
                
									The fruit of the Great Awakening in the 
									eighteenth century, and the revivals in the 
									nineteenth century, affected all our 
									inhabitants, and permeated its institutions, 
									its laws and it traditions.  
Men and women 
									modeled their marriages and 
									families after the biblical model.  
									Even those unregenerate human hearts 
									in our population felt this restraint from 
									doing evil.  This placed a check on our 
									nation from going too far wayward from THE 
									LAW of God (The Ten Commandments).   
As long as we 
									were a nation that revered and believed the 
									old black BOOK, the King James Bible, 
									we would enjoy God’s blessings as an 
									American Gentile nation whom God placed in 
									the latter part of the sixth millennium 
									years of human history.
Believing the 
									BOOK is paramount to everything that matters 
									in this life and holds the KEY to a correct 
									understanding of history.  BELIEVING is 
									the KEY to a proper understanding of the 
									Bible.  
We need to 
									observe two more keys in this 
									sequence.  The key to our 
									understanding of the Old Testament … is 
									the book of Revelation.  The key
									to our understanding of the New 
									Testament ... is the Old Testament.
									“For whatsoever things were written 
									aforetime were written for our learning, 
									that we through patience and comfort of the 
									scriptures might have hope.” [Romans 
									15:4]   
The Erasure of Gender Distinction in Apparel
              
									 
									
If the subject of 
									cross-dressing is controversial, it is 
									because the sparks that were kindled came 
									from the fires of controversy, in 
									particular, from the Laodicea rights 
									movements of the eighteenth century.   
(Laodicea 
									means: “the rights of the people”.) 
The practice 
									of cross-dressing itself began around 1850 
									among the women who 
									walked in the light of their own fire.    
A peculiar invention, which came of this fire is called the pant-skirt suit, or better known as Bloomers.
Elizabeth Smith 
									Miller, who was the daughter of Gerrit 
									Smith, designed this cross-dressing 
									garment, which consisted of skirts reaching 
									just below the knee and incorporated Turkish 
									trousers.  
Amelia Jenks 
									Bloomer adopted this garment and promoted 
									Bloomers wherever she went in her fight 
									to promote women’s rights.     
Feminism as a 
									rights movement was born. The rights of the 
									people!  
The Devil smiled!   
Gender Distinction
                
									Up until this time, America maintained the
									gender distinction in its apparel in 
									obedience to the word of God.    
“The woman 
									shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a 
									man, neither shall a man put on a woman's 
									garment: for all that do so are abomination 
									unto the LORD thy God.” 
									[Deuteronomy 22:5]   
This command 
									given in Deuteronomy was to the nation of 
									Israel.   God clearly established 
									that the design of the man’s clothing was to 
									be distinctly different from the design of 
									the woman’s clothing.  He considered it 
									an abomination for a man or a woman to 
									cross-dress.  
This precept or 
									command had its origins in the very creation 
									account as shown in the book of Genesis. 
									 
“So God 
									created man in his own image, in the image 
									of God created he him, male and female 
									created he them.”  
									[Genesis 1:27]  
God wants the 
									lines of distinction between male and 
									female to be maintained.   
									Any attempt to break down this distinct line 
									of demarcation, or any attempt to blur, 
									or erase this distinction is rebellion 
									to God’s revealed will.
The rights 
									movements have promoted the grays. 
									The shades of gray is the color 
									of their banner, and their cross-dressing
									apparel is the badge of their REBELLION.    
Another hero of 
									the feminist movement was Mary Edwards 
									Walker. 

(Note a 
									peculiar thing for the eighteenth century.  
									She refused to take the last name of her 
									husband when she married Albert Miller.)  
Mary was an 
									early proponent of 
									cross-dressing for women, and supported the 
									efforts of Amelia Bloomer to eliminate the 
									restrictive gender distinctive 
									clothing rooted in the heritage of 
									our nation.   During the Civil War 
									when this cross-dresser was in 
									confinement, a Confederate captain commented 
									to his wife that he and others were amused 
									and disgusted by the "thing that nothing 
									but the debased and deprived Yankee nation 
									could produce."   Indeed, for the 
									cross-dressing apparel that Mary adopted 
									came as a result of her father being a rebel 
									himself.  His “free thinking” interest 
									in the rights movement of the nineteenth 
									century nurtured this cross-dressing 
									appetite of his daughter.  
The Devil smiled.    
									“Mary proudly wore feminine curls 
									in her hair but continued wearing male 
									clothing in civilian life and was often 
									arrested. She opened a colony for women 
									named Adamlesss Eden in 1897”,

									The third member of this feminist 
									triumvirate was Aurore Lucie Dupin, or known 
									most of her life by her male name of
									George Sands.   Aurore, or
									George, openly shook her fist in the 
									face of God by calling marriage “a form 
									of slavery”.   Not only did 
									she wear men’s trousers and smoke cigars, 
									she was of loose morals.  In other 
									words, she was a carousing fornicator.  
The Devil smiled.  
                
									These three women had become the agents 
									of change in our land.  
By the year 1900, 
									the leavening process had now begun 
									to undermine our homes, marriages, families 
									and national institutions.  
“Your glorying 
									is not good.  Know ye not that a little 
									leaven leaveneth the whole lump?”  
									[1 Corinthians 5:6]  
After World War 
									I, during the roaring twenties, the 
									women’s skirt length shortened in a 
									deliberate marked movement towards 
									immodesty.  Woman began to show the 
									leg.  God calls this nakedness. 
									The debauchery of America was continuing, 
									and the Devil smiled.   
America was 
									caught basking in the light of its own 
									fire. 
Lying Down In Your Sorrow
               
									
There is an old 
									saying out there that is as old as the 
									hills.  “The chickens will come home 
									to roost!!!”  Those chickens have come 
									home to roost!  
“Be not 
									deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever 
									a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” 
									[Galatians 6:7]  We are reaping the 
									consequences of our sin.  We are lying 
									down in sorrow.  What is worse we are 
									lying down in sorrow because God brought us 
									to the sorrow.  
“This shall ye 
									have of mine hand; ye shall lie down in 
									sorrow.”
                
									We have seen the seeds of destruction 
									being sown over the last several 
									generations.   The lines of 
									demarcation between the sexes have been 
									broken down in a total rebellion to God.   
									This rebellion has been to the hurt of us 
									all ... especially to our children, and 
									to our children’s children.  
Marriages have 
									been ruined, and the 
									divorces have broken up our homes.  
									Many lives have been destroyed!  The 
									children have been confused and made angry.   
									The Devil is the only winner here!  
“Ye shall lie 
									down in sorrow.” 
One sin gives 
									birth to another sin.   Sodomy is 
									filling the land.    Our 
									slippery slide to our destruction (to lie 
									in our bed of SORROW) is a fulfillment of 
									this promise from God: “be sure your sin 
									will find you out.” [Numbers 32:23b)] 
When the infamous 
									feminist triumvirate had finished their 
									work, the seeds of destruction that were 
									sown began to attack and break down the 
									infrastructure of our marriages and of our 
									families in America.  Women were 
									deceived by the lie of the Devil all over 
									again and men were the willing partners! 
“Yea, hath God said,” [Genesis 3:1)]
“The woman 
									shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a 
									man.”  
What’s wrong with 
									wearing trousers if they have been 
									feminized?   “Let’s wear them.”  
Now after decades 
									of this cross-dressing practice, any 
									sane individual can see looking back with 
									twenty-twenty hindsight (if he or she is 
									honest) that something has gone wrong.  
									Disorder has been brought to us, into 
									our lives, into our homes, and into our 
									national institutions.   Today 
									anyone can ask legitimately, “Who wears 
									the pants in your family?”   Good 
									question!  
The Devil has a 
									smile on his face.  
We are walking in 
									the light of our own fire.  We are lying 
									down in our sorrow. If there is any modesty 
									or orderliness left in America, it is 
									because there are a few Bible–believing 
									women clinging by faith to the pure words of 
									God, which proclaim:  “the woman 
									shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a 
									man.”   
Christ Shall Give Thee Light
“Who is among 
									you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the 
									voice of his servant, that walketh in 
									darkness, and hath no light? let him trust 
									in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his 
									God.”   
                
									If you are one who can admit to yourself, 
									and to God, that “the light of your fire”
									is a self-generated light, which will 
									only give you a false light and a light that 
									will only lead you into error, then you are 
									a candidate that God can use as a useful 
									servant.  You will throw the light of 
									your fire into a trashcan, in order to 
									receive the light that Jesus Christ offers.  
The light of 
									your fire… is really 
									darkness.   
“For ye were 
									sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in 
									the Lord: walk as children of light.”  
									(Ephesians 5:8)    
Once a person is 
									born again (spiritually born) he or 
									she is able to discern the way he should go 
									in his path because the illumination shining 
									into the soul is the light of Jesus Christ.  
“Proving what 
									is acceptable unto the Lord” 
									[Ephesians 5:10] becomes a vision of how you 
									are to “present your bodies a living 
									sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which 
									is your reasonable service.” [Romans 
									12:1]  
                
									The command that follows: “And be not 
									conformed to this world” comes as a 
									result of “proving what is acceptable 
									unto the Lord.”  [Romans 12:2]  
“But all 
									things that are reproved are made manifest 
									by the light: for whatsoever doth make 
									manifest is light. Wherefore he saith, Awake 
									thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, 
									and Christ shall give thee light.   
See then that 
									ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as 
									wise, Redeeming the time, because the days 
									are evil.   Wherefore be ye not 
									unwise, but understanding what the will of 
									the Lord is.” [Ephesians 
									5:13-17]  
The Woman’s Apparel … Her worship to God
                
									What is the will of the LORD in this matter 
									of women’s apparel?  Let’s turn to 1 
									Timothy chapter two:
“I exhort 
									therefore, that, first of all, 
									supplications, prayers, intercessions, and 
									giving of thanks, be made for all men; 
For kings, and 
									for all that are in authority; that we may 
									lead a quiet and peaceable life in all 
									godliness and honesty.  
For this is 
									good and acceptable in the sight of God our 
									Saviour;   
Who will have 
									all men to be saved, and to come unto the 
									knowledge of the truth.   
For there is 
									one God, and one mediator between God and 
									men, the man Christ Jesus; 
Who gave 
									himself a ransom for all, to be testified in 
									due time.   
Whereunto I am 
									ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I 
									speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a 
									teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.   
I will 
									therefore that men pray every where, lifting 
									up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.   
In like manner 
									also, that women adorn themselves in modest 
									apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; 
									not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, 
									or costly array; 
But (which 
									becometh women professing godliness) with 
									good works.   
Let the woman 
									learn in silence with all subjection.   
But I suffer 
									not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority 
									over the man, but to be in silence.   
For Adam was 
									first formed, then Eve.” (1 
									Timothy 2:1-13)
                
									In that same year that I exited that Navy 
									base gate and had become a civilian again 
									(albeit as a new creature in Christ, 
									“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a 
									new creature: old things are passed away; 
									behold, all things are become new.”), 
									the earth of northeastern Vermont was still 
									covered with the deep white blanketing snow. 
It was then that 
									I had gotten to know a man by the name of 
									Ronald Powers.   There quickly 
									developed a bond between the two of us.  
									The commonality we had in Jesus 
									Christ had knitted our hearts 
									together.    
The bottom line 
									was this, we loved to talk BIBLE to each 
									other.   
“Iron 
									sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the 
									countenance of his friend.” 
									[Proverbs 27:17]  
I remember one 
									particular subject he excitedly brought to 
									me.   It was something rather 
									earth shattering to me at the time that 
									he had gotten from his cousin.  He 
									said, “See look here at this.”  He 
									was pointing to 1 Timothy chapter two, and 
									in particular, the phrase found in verse 
									nine: “In like manner also,”   
									 For this phrase, “in like manner also” 
									ties together with a conjunction whatever 
									God is telling men to do (as a means) 
									with whatever women are to do (as a means
									to a desired end as determined by the 
									context of the passage).   
What then, is the 
									context of this scripture?   It’s
									“that men pray everywhere, lifting up 
									holy hands” to God.  Prayer lies on 
									a vertical plane … the upward direction to 
									God from man.  
In verse 8, men 
									are commanded to worship by prayer.   
									Women are to adorn themselves “in modest 
									apparel with shamefacedness and sobriety.” 
This also, 
									involves something in the vertical plane … 
									the upward direction to God from man 
									(mankind). In verse 9, women are commanded 
									to worship by adorning in modest 
									apparel.  
God gives his 
									directive to the man … first.  
									Everything in its proper order. God then 
									gives his directive to the woman … second.  
									This reflects the creation order found in 
									Genesis.  These directives, or 
									commands, are completely and entirely 
									spiritual in nature.   
Therefore, 
									prayer for the man and the adorning 
									of modest apparel for the woman involve a 
									spiritual transaction with a Spirit. [1 
									Timothy 2:8-10]  
This is because 
									the one who has given these commands is a 
									Spirit.  
“God is a 
									Spirit: and they that worship him must 
									worship him in spirit and in truth.” 
									[John 3:24]   
The spiritual 
									nature of these transactions is precisely 
									and diametrically opposite to the spirit and 
									the course of this world.
Precepts, Preferences and Principles
In this era of 
									apostasy the Laodicea spirit has given us 
									myopic vision.  We no longer can 
									discern between precepts, principles and 
									preferences.   
Precepts: 
									precepts are the clear commands of God. 
									
									“Thou shalt 
									not commit adultery” is a 
									clear command.  Exodus 20:14 is capable 
									of standing alone without the aid of any 
									other scripture to support it.  
If this were the 
									only verse in the Bible on the subject of 
									adultery we would know with great certainty 
									the mind of God in this matter.   
									His desire is for all men and women 
									everywhere to not commit adultery.  God 
									has revealed his will here without the 
									possibility of any doubt.
Preferences: preferences are just our preferences.
They are our 
									personal opinion about matters of no real 
									importance ... of no real consequence 
									in terms of eternity.  They may be 
									preferences that our neighbor may have for 
									his rule of life and may even have some 
									biblical merit, yet God is expecting us to 
									give others some room to hold a 
									differing opinion from ours … to be 
									expressed.  
God instructs us 
									to honor or respect another brother or 
									sister in their beliefs or practices that 
									have no real import to the precepts and 
									commands of the Bible.  
“One man 
									esteemeth one day above another: another 
									esteemeth every day alike.  Let every 
									man be fully persuaded in his own mind. 
He that 
									regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the 
									Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to 
									the Lord he doth not regard it.  He 
									that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he 
									giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, 
									to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God 
									thanks.”  [Romans 
									14:5-6]    
Principles: principles on the other hand 
									are a revelation of how God feels about a 
									certain matter that is ascertained by 
									comparing scripture with scripture.  
									
									Let 
									us see how a principle is 
									established.   
“In like 
									manner also, that women adorn themselves in 
									modest apparel, with shamefacedness and 
									sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or 
									pearls, or costly array; But (which becometh 
									women professing godliness) with good 
									works.”   
In this subject 
									verse it is not clear what the word 
									“adorn” or what the word “modest” 
									means “in modest apparel”.   
									We need to search God’s word for any other 
									references to “adorn” or to be 
									“modest” or the variations of these two 
									words in order to learn what they mean.  
Modest Apparel
               
									Our subject verse (I 
									Timothy 2:9) is the only verse of the Bible 
									where the word “modest” appears. 
									 In this case, we can turn to a good 
									concordance.  The word “modest” 
									in its root or primary sense means 
									“orderly” according to Strong’s 
									Exhaustive Concordance of The Bible.  
Therefore the 
									apparel that a woman is to “adorn”
									herself with is to be orderly 
									apparel.     
Next: let’s list 
									all the references to the word adorn (in 
									addition to 1 Timothy 2:9).   
1. “Not 
									purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; 
									that they may adorn the doctrine of God our 
									saviour in all things.”  [Titus 
									2:10]
2.  
									“Again I will build thee, and thou shalt be 
									built, O virgin of Israel: thou shalt again 
									be adorned with thy tabrets, and shalt go 
									forth in the dances of them that make 
									merry.”  [Jeremiah 31:4]
3. “And as 
									some spake of the temple, how it was adorned 
									with goodly stones and gifts, he said.”  
									[Luke 21:5] 
4. “For after 
									this manner in the old time the holy women 
									also, who trusted in God, adorned 
									themselves, being in subjection unto their 
									own husbands.”  [1 Peter 3:5]
5. “And I John 
									saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming 
									down from God out of heaven, prepared as a 
									bride adorned for her husband.”  
									[Revelation 21:3]
6. “I will 
									greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall 
									be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me 
									with the garments of salvation, he hath 
									covered me with the robe of righteousness, 
									as a bridegroom decketh himself with 
									ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself 
									with her jewels.”  [Isaiah 61:10] 
7. “Whose 
									adorning let it not be that outward adorning 
									of plaiting the hair, and the wearing of 
									gold, or of putting on of apparel;” [1 
									Peter 3:3].
                
									In Titus 2:10 it shows that we as believers 
									need to adorn the doctrine of God in 
									all things.  All true believers in 
									Christ Jesus (as a group) are identified 
									as the body of Christ, which is called 
									the church.  [Colossians 1:24] 
The church is 
									always identified as a bride.  
									By the above seven verses the word 
									“adorn” is always used in the Bible to 
									refer to a female activity: i.e., “as a 
									bride adorned for her husband” and 
									“as a bride adorneth herself”.  In 
									Jeremiah 31:4 it’s: “O virgin of Israel: 
									thou shalt again be adorned …”, and 
									again it’s a female activity.  
(Israel is a type of a woman.)
Only with the 
									physical temple in Jerusalem in Luke 21:5 is 
									there not a direct reference to a female 
									activity.  But even here we need to 
									remember the temple is a type of the New 
									Testament believer.  
Men deck themselves (“decketh” as in Isaiah 61:10) and women “adorn” themselves according to the pure words of God.
 
Gender Distinction … Rooted In the Creation
                
									Furthermore, for the woman, her apparel is 
									to be orderly or showing order.  
									The design of women’s apparel should be 
									“modest” showing the creation order by their 
									adorning “themselves, being in 
									subjection unto their own husbands.”  
“For the man 
									is not of the woman; but the woman for the 
									man.” [1 Corinthians 11:8]  
God created the 
									man first, then he created the woman
									second.  Her apparel will be 
									modest if it reflects the order 
									found in the creation as recorded in 
									Genesis.  Her apparel will be modest
									if it shows her worship to God as 
									we found earlier in 1 Timothy 1:9.   
									Her apparel will be modest if it 
									maintains the gender distinction as 
									commanded to Israel in Deuteronomy 22:5:  
“The woman 
									shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a 
									man, neither shall a man put on a woman's 
									garment: for all that do so are abomination 
									unto the LORD thy God.”  
The Pants Issue

The book of 
									Exodus makes it real clear that a coat 
									and a robe are not the same garment. 
									Two things different are not the same.
									 See for this the second book of Moses 
									called Exodus, chapter twenty-eight, verse 
									four:
“And these 
									are the garments which they shall make; 
									a breastplate, and an ephod, and a robe, and 
									a broidered coat, a mitre, and a girdle: and 
									they shall make holy garments for Aaron thy 
									brother, and his sons, that he may minister 
									unto me in the priest's office.”  
									[Exodus 28:4]
The coat most 
									commonly is an upper outer garment,
									whereas a robe was more a full length 
									outer garment.
The English 
									Dictionary of 1828 defines: COAT: An 
									upper garment, of whatever material it 
									may be made.

									God made coats of 
									skin and clothed them. Genesis 3.
·        
									Jacob made Joseph a 
									coat of many colors. Genesis 37.
·        
									He shall put on the 
									holy linen coat. Leviticus 16.
·        
									Goliath was armed 
									with a coat of mail. 1 Samuel 17.
The English 
									Dictionary of 1828 defines: ROBE: A kind of 
									gown or long loose garment worn over other 
									dress, particularly by persons in elevated 
									stations. The robe is properly a dress of 
									state or dignity, as of princes, judges, 
									priests, &c. See Exodus 29:5, 1 Samuel 24:4, 
									Matthew 27:28.
Robes were 
									special use, and coats were common.
Now let us go for 
									the breeches or britches in the 
									Bible.
                
									There are only five recorded instances of 
									breeches (also known as pants or 
									trousers) being worn in the Bible, and 
									all five times men are wearing them.  
									(See God’s instructions concerning 
									“breeches” in Exodus 28:42, 
									39:28, Leviticus 6:10, 16:4 and Ezekiel 
									44:18.)   Never in the pure words 
									of God are breeches or pants 
									shown to be a woman’s garment.   
									
In the Gentile 
									nations from the beginnings of the times of 
									the Gentiles in Genesis till the beginning 
									of twentieth century men wore the pants
									and the women wore the dresses.   
Regardless of the 
									exact nature of the apparel down through the 
									expanse of time, the truth is, wherever 
									God’s BOOK was revered, men and women 
									maintained a sense of right and wrong and 
									upheld the PRINCIPLE of women adorning 
									themselves in modest dresses, and not 
									wearing “that which pertaineth unto a 
									man.”   
Once we take this 
									principle as God’s will for us much 
									confusion will be eliminated in our homes, 
									in our churches and in the concourses of 
									our nation.  
The Logic of Faith
               
									Though this was a 
									controversial message … it was a message we 
									need to hear today, for we are those who 
									live in the times of the great religious 
									apostasy in the end of an age, which is 
									known as the dispensation of the church.   
									One of the reasons that we are in such a 
									deplorable state as individuals, and as a 
									nation, (living in the light of our own 
									fire, and consequently, lying down in 
									our sorrow) is because of the practice 
									of CROSS-DRESSING.  We ought not be 
									this kind of nation, or be this kind of 
									people!   We are found by God to be 
									basking in the light of our own fire!   
									Because God’s hand of judgment is upon 
									us, we are lying down in our own sorrow!
									 We need to REPENT!  
“Wherefore he 
									saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise 
									from the dead, and Christ shall give thee 
									light.”    
                
									Now my friend, if you are guilty in this 
									matter before God concerning this sin of 
									cross-dressing, and your heart is heavy 
									laden with a godly sorrow because of 
									this message, then repent!  
If the conviction 
									of the Holy Ghost is upon you, then now, 
									while you are inclined by the light of his 
									word of truth, repent!   
If you see that
									modest apparel is both a physical 
									and a spiritual transaction and is of 
									great importance to Jesus Christ the Son of 
									God, REPENT!  
Friends, we need 
									to identify the spirit of this age in this 
									practice of cross-dressing and 
									deliberately WALK in the OPPOSITE 
									DIRECTION.  
We need to obey 
									God and leave the consequences of obeying 
									God with God.  No one should have to 
									ask you any longer about who is wearing 
									the pants in your home?  It will be a 
									given.  Maybe, as a result of this 
									message, you have become convinced that you 
									are without Jesus Christ and have never been 
									saved.  If you are not saved, then, may 
									I plead with you to trust in Him now!  
“But as many 
									as received him, to them gave he power to 
									become the sons of God, even to them that 
									believe on his name.” [John 
									1:12] Amen!  
                
									Now here it is: The Logic of Faith! 
									Understand the time you live in!   
Get your 
									bearings!  
In this 
									dispensation it is given unto us to 
									individually respond in obedience to the 
									Gospel of Jesus Christ, and receive by FAITH 
									the Son of God … Jesus Christ … as our 
									personal Lord and Savior. Amen!
